it's really really officially official now.. i leave for AUSTRALIA in 86 DAYS!! i got my visa and booked my flight this afternoon =D i'm leaving may 2nd and i'll be there for about 3 1/2 months. the mother of the family i'm staying with sent me the CUTEST thing i have ever ever ever seen:

they're having a really bad heat wave there right now, so someone she knows put a bowl of water out for this koala (who walked right onto their porch!!) and i guess he just got in. i'll bring a koala back for anyone who can tell me where my quote is from
